Commission To Meet In Lewiston In May

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission will meet Tuesday and Wednesday, May 19 and 20 in Lewiston.
A public hearing will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 19 at the Clearwater Region Fish and Game office at 3316 16th Street.
Members of the public who want to address the commission on any topic having to do with Fish and Game business may do so at the public hearing. All testimony will be taken into consideration when the commission makes decisions on agenda items at the meeting.
Regular business will begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday May 20. Routine agenda items include setting a season for Chinook salmon, consideration of the fiscal 2017 budget direction, election of chairman and vice-chairman, and briefings on auction and lottery tags and nonbiological rules for all game animals. Commissioners will also appoint a liaison to the Idaho Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
