MK Nature Center to Celebrate Anniversary

idfg-mdemick
In July, the Morrison Knudsen (MK) Nature Center will mark 25 years of educating Idahoans about nature in a real outdoor setting. The public is invited to celebrate the anniversary a bit early, on April 25, at the unique, 4.6-acre site along the Boise River Greenbelt. The event will include live music, food and drink, fun and educational games, crafts and plenty of opportunities to learn about Idaho's diverse plants and animals. "We are proud of who we are and of what we've accomplished in our 25 years," said Nature Center Superintendent Dave Cannamela. "But we are never satisfied and are always looking for ways to improve and better serve the community." Cannamela notes that donations from generous supporters and volunteers play vital roles in the maintenance and improvement of the Nature Center. The MK Nature Center is located on Walnut Street behind Fish and Game Headquarters. For more information, visit http://fishandgame.idaho.gov/public/education/?getPage=234.
