February Sportsperson Dinner Scheduled in Lewiston

Anyone interested in local wildlife management issues is welcome to attend the February sportsperson dinner meeting on Tuesday, February 17th at the Regional Fish and Game office, 3316 16th street in Lewiston. Dinner will begin at 6:00 pm followed by presentations including; fisheries and big game season setting, elk capture updates, backcountry hunters and anglers reward program, and more! "These meetings are designed to bring regional staff and sportspersons together to discuss the work that we do in our region, says Clearwater regional supervisor, Jerome Hansen. "We encourage folks to get involved by asking questions and providing comments. Involvement from our local hunters and anglers is an extremely important part of the process as we set our fisheries and big game seasons in the upcoming year."
