Road Repairs to Close Ft. Boise W M A Boat Ramp

idfg-sliebenthal
With waterfowl season drawing to a close, and the spring fishing season right around the corner, the lull in between is the best time for maintenance work. Beginning Monday January 26th, Fish and Game staff will be taking advantage of this slow period to make much needed repairs on the primary access road into Ft. Boise Wildlife Management Area (WMA). The repair work will necessitate closing the boat ramp at the end of the access road for the duration of the repair work. Project completion is slated for January 30th, at which time the access road and the boat ramp will reopen to the public. Boaters planning to access the Snake River during the closure are encouraged to use the boat ramp just west of Fish and Game's Martins Landing Access Site at the end of Scott Pit Road. For more information regarding the repair project, contact Fish and Game's Ft. Boise WMA office at 208-722-5888.
