Rockslide Closes Access to Hells Canyon

The only road to Hells Canyon Dam could be closed for up to a week due to a large rock slide that completely blocked the road about three miles north of Hells Canyon Park Wednesday afternoon. Idaho Power crews have been working on clearing the slide since Wednesday January 21, and expect work to continue into the weekend and beyond.
