Women's Hunting Clinic Scheduled

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game will host a Women's Hunting Clinic from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. August 20 at the Jerome Gun Club. The Jerome Gun Club turn-off is by mile marker 64 on Highway 93, marked with a Public Shooting Range sign. The women will receive instruction on shooting rifles, shotguns, archery, field dressing game animals, camp cooking and map reading with compass and GPS devices. Students may bring their own equipment or it will be provided. The cost is $10 for the day, and lunch is provided. The clinic is limited to the first 30 participants who register at the Idaho Fish and Game office at 324 S 417 E, Highway 93 Business Park or call 208-324-4350. The deadline for sign up and fees is August 17.
