Waha Lake Boat Ramp and Campground Closed

The Waha Lake boat ramp south of Lewiston will be closed for improvements from June 11 to June 25. The campground will be closed until Friday, June 27. Improvements will be made to the ramp, docks, parking lot, toilets and handicapped access. Funding for the improvements came from Idaho fishing license dollars and federal excise taxes on fishing gear. Idaho Fish and Game maintains 44 boating and fishing sites in the Clearwater Region to provide access for a variety of users. Several of these areas have been upgraded with new docks, launch ramps and other improvements. Visitors to Spring Valley Reservoir, Mann Lake, Campbell's Pond, McKay's Bend at Myrtle, and Tolo Lake will notice a variety of recent improvements accomplished in-part with fishing license dollars.
