Summer activities at the Nature Center at 600 South Walnut in Boise include these: What lives at the MK Nature Center? July 16, 2-4 p.m. Stop by the hands-on education table and learn about animals that live at the nature center. Discover what adaptations the great blue heron possesses, see what kind of habitat beavers prefer, and ask questions about wildlife that you have always wanted answered! The table will be located in the courtyard of the Nature Center building. Staying Fit as a Falcon! Diet and Exercise on the Wild Side Saturday, July 23, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Have you wondered about how staying healthy can be fun? Bring the whole family to participate in activities designed to emphasize healthy living for both wildlife and people. You will try to fly as fast as a bird while avoiding migration obstacles, search for food like a black bear, and refuel with water at the hydration station. Go for the gold and win prizes!
