Southwest Idaho Otter Season Closes

By order of the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, the river otter trapping season has been closed in Idaho's southwest region effective February 4, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. MST. The harvest quota of 27 otters has been reached. Because the quota has been reached, any additional trapped otters are now considered "incidental take" and must be surrendered to any Fish and Game office for a $5.00 reward.
