Section of Unit 32 Offers Longer Antlerless Deer Hunting Season for Everyone

Unit 32 isn't just for young deer hunters anymore. A misprint in this year's big game rule book unintentionally excluded some deer hunters from hunting antlerless deer in a portion of the unit. In fact, all deer hunters are welcome. On page 20 of the rule book, the entry for unit 32 reads "youth hunt only" for antlerless deer. A footnote states a portion of the unit is open to short-range weapons only (shotguns, bows, and muzzleloaders) because of development in the area. This small portion of the unit is actually open - for antlered and antlerless deer - to hunters of all ages. Prospective hunters must be familiar with the boundary description for this hunt prior to venturing into the field. In addition, the dates for this hunt are incorrect.
