idfg-nnokkentved
The second drawing for deer, elk, antelope and fall black bear controlled hunt permits was completed Thursday evening. Starting Friday morning, August 24, hunters may check the Idaho Fish and Game Website at http://fishandgame.idaho.gov/ or check with license vendors to find out whether they drew a controlled hunt permit. The permits will be available for pick-up until the hunt is over. A list of left-over tags also will be posted Friday on the Fish and Game Website and at license vendors and Fish and Game offices. They will go on sale Saturday, August 25, as planned at vendors, on the Internet at http://fishandgame.idaho.gov or by telephone at 1-800-55-HUNTS (554-8586), starting at 10 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time. For more information call the local Idaho Department of Fish and Game office, or visit the agency Website at: http://fishandgame.idaho.gov. In 2006, about 1,000 deer, 900 elk and no bear or antelope tags were available for the leftover tag sale.
