Rainbow Trout Stocking Report

Personnel from Fish and Game's Nampa Hatchery will be releasing more than 32,000 catchable-sized rainbow trout at the following locations during May. Location and number of trout listed below: Boise River (Boise): 2,000 Boise River (Eagle to Middleton): 2,000 Bull Trout Lake: 1,200 Caldwell Pond #1: 1,000 Caldwell Pond #2: 400 Crooked River: 500 Ed's Ponds (Emmett): 300 Fischer's Pond (Cascade): 300 Grimes Creek: 500 Little Bull Trout Lake: 500 Marsing Pond: 400 Martin Lake: 500 McDevitt Pond (Meridian): 300 Mill Pond (Horseshoe Bend): 600 Moores Creek: 500 Ol' McDonald's Pond (Council): 300 Parkcenter Pond : 800 Payette River (Middle Fork): 800 Quinn's Pond: 500 Redwood Pond: 300 Riverside Pond (Boise): 300 Rotary Pond (Caldwell): 400 Sagehen Reservoir: 4,000 Sawyer's Pond: 600 Silver Creek: 800 Veteran's Park Pond: 800 Warm Lake: 10,000 Wilson Spring: 600 Wilson Spring Ponds: 1,500 The number of trout actually released may be altered by weather, water conditions, equipment problems or schedule changes. If delays occur, trout will be stocked when conditions become favorable.
