Prescribed Fire and Land Exchange Topics at Fish and Game Public Meeting

LEWISTON - The Idaho Department of Fish and Game and personnel from the Idaho Department of Lands will host a public meeting Wednesday, September 21 to discuss a proposed 1,600 acre prescribed fire and potential land exchange on the Craig Mountain Wildlife Management Area. The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Clearwater Region Office, 3316 16th Ave in Lewiston. The proposed prescribed fire is planned for the Madden Creek area and is designed to improve wildlife habitat and reduce risks of wildfire to both state and private lands.
