Nature Center Workshop on Winterizing Gardens

Ezekiel Willard, a certified arborist and ornamental horticulturist will lead a workshop on winterizing gardens, trees and shrubs at the MK Nature Center Saturday, November 8 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. He will discuss potential plant diseases and how to have good garden hygiene as well as providing a winter garden chore list and a list of trees and shrubs that need to be pruned in fall or winter. Willard will also discuss how to make good cuts when pruning and what a bad cut looks like. There will be a $5.00 fee and pre-registration is advised since there is only room for 20 people.
