McCall Area Hunter Education Instructor Training Scheduled

Prospective Hunter Education instructors should make plans to attend an upcoming instructor training session to be held at Fish and Game's McCall office. "I want to encourage everyone who might have an interest in becoming an instructor to attend," Fish and Game wildlife educator Dan Papp said. "It could be one of the most rewarding endeavors of your life." To learn more about the training session, contact Fish and Game's McCall office at 634-8137. There is no cost to attend the two-day training session that begins Friday evening, February 15. "The first session will begin at 7:00pm, concluding at 9:30pm," Papp said. The following morning, we'll continue the training with a session from 9:00am until noon." Idaho's Hunter Education program relies heavily on volunteer help. "Each and every instructor in our program is a volunteer," Papp noted. "These people make the program a success; at the same time, they pass on our proud hunting tradition to the next generation of hunters."
