LEWISTON - Outdoor enthusiasts are invited to the monthly Idaho Department of Fish and Game breakfast meeting to be held on Tuesday May 6, beginning at 6:30 a.m., at the Helm Restaurant in Lewiston. "We'll buy the coffee, and we hope local hunters and anglers bring their questions and comments," said Cal Groen, Clearwater Region Supervisor. Agenda topics include reports on the currenty salmon, turkey and bear seasons, as well information on the early goose hunt proposals and regional fisheries enhancement projects. Other fish and wildlife-related topics of interest will be discussed as well. Local sportsmen's club representatives are also invited to give reports of their club's activities. The breakfasts are held the first Tuesday of each month at the Helm restaurant in Lewiston. They are open to anyone and are designed to stimulate informal discussion about wildlife issues in the Clearwater Region. The breakfasts run until 8:30 a.m., with coffee provided by Fish and Game.
