Idaho Fish and Game

Little Camas Reservoir Falls Victim to Drought

idfg-staff
The Idaho Fish and Game Commission has removed all bag and possession limits and size restrictions on fish in Little Camas Reservoir in Elmore County. The irrigation district has advised this reservoir will likely be drained by mid to late summer for irrigation purposes. The Department of Fish and Game would like the public to use as many of these fish as possible. Effective Wednesday, July 24, 2002 through November 30, 2002, anglers may take any number of fish they want from Little Camas Reservoir; however, traditional fishing methods (rod and reel) are still required. Unlawful methods of take include electricity, explosives, chemicals and firearms. A valid Idaho fishing license is required to take fish from this reservoir.
