Idaho Fish & Game News Available

Idaho Fish and Game is inviting readers to pick up a current copy of the Idaho Fish & Game News at license vendors and department offices statewide. The tabloid-sized newspaper, established in the late 1980s, has been 1 in recent years only to carry controlled hunt drawing odds and harvest. The current issue is the first of a reconstituted quarterly publication that covers a broad range of Fish and Game activities. "This publication is part of our effort to meet the constant demand for more information about what the department is doing," Communication Bureau chief Roger Fuhrman said. The Idaho Fish & Game News represents "one of the most cost-effective methods for explaining what the department is doing with hunters' and anglers' dollars for Idaho's fish and wildlife,' Fuhrman said. The publication is written and edited by department staff with a large part of the current printing costs donated by the Idaho Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
