Hunt Fees Adjusted

Big game hunters in Idaho will soon notice a change in controlled hunt application and permit fees. Both fees were $6.50 for several years. The fees were changed during the last legislative session. Setting the application fee and the permit fee both at $6.50 has been a source of confusion for the hunting public. A new fee structure shifts the load a little from applicants to those who draw a permit. As of July 1, the application fee for a controlled hunt will be $6 and the permit fee will go to $7.50. Tag fees are not affected.
