Have a WILD fall!

idfg-staff
Teachers, scout leaders, or folks who are involved in wildlife education are welcome to sign up for one of the several varieties of Project WILD being offered this fall in Idaho. Project WILD is a wildlife education program that is appropriate for all ages. The program is geared for teachers of grades K - 12, but is worthwhile for anyone who is interested in wildlife or in sharing nature with children. The workshops, 15 hours in length, are also worth a college credit. Participants will receive two Project WILD guides which contain more than 100 activities to share with children and all the background information needed. Three additional workshops will be offered this year. WILD about Birds of Prey will concentrate on raptors in the area. Management and Conservation focuses on learning more about issues in Idaho and how they are handled. WILD about Deer and Their Kin is a seven-hour (non-credit) workshop offered to learn about mule deer, white-tailed deer, elk, and moose management. The workshop fee is $20. An additional fee to the university is required for credit. See the list below for classes offered in the area this fall.
