The boat ramp at Fort Boise Wildlife Management Area is now fully operational, just in time for the waterfowl season.
During the three-month renovation project, the ramp and surrounding area received a complete overhaul. The concrete ramp blocks were pulled from the Snake River and replaced with a poured concrete boat ramp. Additional improvements included grading the parking area and installing a new toilet facility. All the improvements meet current ADA standards.
The $30,000 project price tag was funded by federal dollars through the Sport Fish and Wildlife Restoration Act, also known as the Dingell-Johnson act.
