Teachers, librarians, parents and scout leaders be sure to look into signing up for this rewarding class that links environmental education with literature. The 15-hour class will be offered from 4 to 9 pm on Friday, December 5, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 6 at the Foothills Learning Center, 3188 Sunset Peak Road, (North 8th Street) in the Hulls Gulch Reserve north of Boise's North End. Project WET, Project WILD and Project Learning Tree, three nationally renowned environmental education programs, have teamed up to offer the program. Expect to be actively involved in learning ways to share books and activities with the children you work (or play) with. The cost of the workshop is $25, which includes lunch on Saturday, three trade books and an activity guide from the program of your choice. University credit is optional. To sign up, call or e-mail Lori Adams at 287-2889 or ladams@idfg.idaho.gov.
