Fish and Game News Now Available

Hot off the press, the Idaho Fish and Game News quarterly tabloid will be available at license vendors and Fish and Game offices statewide early next week. This issue is a special report on fishing, with reports from all seven of Fish and Game's regions on where to go, what gear to use and what kinds of fish to catch. The prospects for summer fishing are written by regional fisheries managers who have a finger on the pulse of fishing in the regions. So far this year, high water and low temperatures have kept fishing from getting into full swing, but after a slow start fishing is expected to improve steadily into the summer. The tabloid wraps up with a historical recounting of salmon fishing in Idaho over the years. The 12-page Fish and Game News is provided free of charge to the public.
