Fish and Game Commission to Meet in Boise

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission will meet beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, in Boise to discuss the process for hiring a new director, the purchase of Redbird Canyon property, a Harris Ranch land donation and a change in the enforcement budget. The meeting will be in the Trophy Room at Fish and Game headquarters, 600 S. Walnut St. Commissioners will consider enforcement budget changes and trust donations started about 8:10 a.m. They also will hear about the Idaho Heritage Project. The commissioners will review the selection process for hiring a new director in an executive session starting about 9:45 a.m. The commissioners will break for lunch and work into the afternoon. Times on the agenda are approximate and subject to change.
