Idaho Fish and Game

File Hunt Reports Now

idfg-staff
Big game hunters who hunted deer, elk and antelope can save themselves a little hassle and cut Fish and Game expense by filing their mandatory hunter harvest reports as soon as possible. Hunters are required to file harvest reports within 10 days of the end of their hunt. Some late hunts continue, particularly in the Panhandle Region. Hunters cannot purchase a new hunting license until their reports for the 2004 hunts are filed with Fish and Game. Those who do not file will receive a reminder letter, a large expense for the department. More than 50,000 hunters have not yet filed reports. Hunter reports are required whether or not hunters were successful. Information from hunter reports is used to manage big game numbers and set seasons for the coming year. Hunters have several choices for filing including: Online: submit your harvest report at www.idaho-hunt.com using your hunting license# and the first four letters of your last name. Submitting online is the surest way to have your information included and the only way to get confirmation that your report was received. Mail: fill out the report(s) and mail to: Idaho Department of Fish and Game PO Box 70007 Boise, ID 83707-0107 Telephone: submit your report by calling toll free 1-877-268-9365. FAX: your report to 1-775-423-0799.
