F&G Seeks Comment on Proposed Rule Changes

idfg-estansbury
Idaho Fish and Game is seeking public review and comment on a dozen proposed rule changes. The changes would clarify existing rules, make changes to improve fishing opportunities, increase management flexibility and correct errors in state rules. The Fishery Bureau will submit the proposed rules to the Idaho Fish and Game Commission for approval in July. Rules approved by the commission this summer would require legislative approval in 2010 before becoming effective in January 2011. Meanwhile, the 2008-2009 fishing rules will remain in effect until the new rules become effective and a new brochure is 1 in 2011. The proposed changes are available from regional Fish and Game offices and the Fish and Game Web site at: http://fishandgame.idaho.gov/cms/public/. Comments may be entered on the Web site or mailed to IDFG, Fishing Rules, P.O. Box 25, Boise ID 83707. Anyone interested in discussing any of the proposed rule changes may contact the regional fishery managers:
