February Fish And Game Breakfast Meeting Cancelled

LEWISTON - The Idaho Department of Fish and Game reminds hunters and anglers that the February 4 breakfast meeting has been cancelled. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4, beginning at 6:30 a.m. at the Helm restaurant in Lewiston. "We'll buy the coffee, and we hope local hunters and anglers bring their questions and comments," said Cal Groen, Clearwater Region Supervisor. Waterfowl and big game aerial survey results, turkey transplant efforts, steelhead season update, results of managed goose hunt and a legislative update are some of the topics on the March breakfast meeting agenda. A presentation on Idaho's largest fish, the White Sturgeon, will also be presented. Other fish and wildlife-related topics of interest will be discussed as well. The breakfast meetings are open to anyone with fish and wildlife related questions, and are designed to stimulate informal discussion about wildlife issues in the area. Sportsmen's club representatives are also invited to give reports of their club's activities The breakfasts run from 6:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m., and are held the first Tuesday of each month at the Helm restaurant.
