Extending Black Bear Season

JEROME - The Idaho Department of Fish and Game in looking into a proposal to extend black bear season to the end of August in hunting units 16A, 17, 19,20, 20A, 26 and 27.
If the season were extended, it would run from April 1 to Oct. 31 each year. Harvest would be closely monitored in each of the units.
