Donation Buys Nature Center Security Cameras

idfg-nnokkentved
A $3,000 donation from Citizens Against Poaching paid for a security camera system at the Morrison Knudsen Nature Center. Former Idaho Department of Fish and Game Director Jerry Conley was instrumental in securing the donation. The money was spent on the purchase and installation of five security surveillance cameras positioned throughout the Nature Center. The camera system is a great addition to the Nature Center, especially because it serves a dual purpose, center Director David Cannamela said. On a practical level, it provides an additional layer of security for the place. The cameras also will allow the Nature Center to capture wildlife images and provide them to visitors and others electronically. "We are, of course, very thankful to Jerry Conley and Citizens Against Poaching for their very generous donation," Cannamela said. "This, like every donation we receive, not only serves a useful and necessary purpose, but it reaffirms the community's dedication to the Nature Center and encourages us to Ôkeep up the good work.'"
