Creatures of the Night: A Nocturnal Celebration

As the sun sets, out come the creatures of the night. Bring the whole family in costume to the Morrison Knudsen Nature Center for our second annual Creatures of the Night Halloween event from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. October 27 and 28. Bring a sense of adventure for a night walk to learn all about nocturnal critters such as beavers, owls, spiders, wolves and crayfish. Create your own mask and enjoy some hot chocolate and popcorn at this family friendly educational event. With more than 400 attendees-last year most in costume-the event has been expanded to two evenings this year to accommodate more guests. Tickets are available in advance at the Nature Center at $2 per person, children under age one are free. Only 400 tickets for each night will be sold. The Nature Center is located behind Fish and Game Headquarters at 600 S. Walnut in Boise. Sponsors include Albertsons Inc., Boise Blue Art Supply, Brown Rental, Cabela's, Gem State Paper & Supply, Kinko's, Norco, Target and Wild Birds Unlimited.
