Commissioners to Consider Summer Chinook Season

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission, in a public meeting Monday, June 18, 2007, will consider a proposed summer Chinook salmon season on the Mainstem South Fork Salmon River. The commissioners will meet in a telephone conference call at 8 a.m. at the Idaho Department of Fish and Game headquarters at 600 S. Walnut Street, Boise. Fish and Game fish managers are proposing a summer Chinook salmon season to start in late June on the South Fork of the Salmon River, and run until a notice of closure is issued.
