Burley Hunter Gets Unexpected Birthday Gift

Another hunter is being rewarded for applying early for a controlled hunt. Shawn Millspaugh of Burley won $450 when his name was drawn from a pool of applicants who put in for controlled hunts early. To be eligible for the $450 drawing applications must have been received by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game no later than May 20. The drawing was held May 25. Applications that were received by May 9 were entered in a drawing for $550 held on May 13. Millspaugh was extremely pleased to find out he had won the second drawing for $450. "Wow and today is my birthday"he said. The early controlled hunt drawing is sponsored by the Idaho Fish and Wildlife Foundation and funded by GTECH Corporation. The Idaho Fish and Wildlife Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1990 to protect and sustain Idaho's fishing, hunting and wildlife heritage. Board members represent each region of the state.
