Big Game Brochure Available

Brochures for the 2003 big game seasons are available now at license vendors, Fish and Game offices, and on the Internet. The brochure covers hunts for deer, elk, antelope, black bear and mountain lions, including controlled hunts. Big game hunters are encouraged to read the brochure carefully for details of the hunts that interest them. Some changes have been made in all of the seven Fish and Game Regions but the 2003 rules do not reflect large management changes from recent years. Hunters who use off-highway vehicles in southern Idaho should check new restrictions in 16 hunt units. Besides the printed brochure, the entire publication is available on the Fish and Game Internet web site at www2.state.id.us/fishgame where it is posted in pdf format. The brochure contains information and forms for filing applications for big game controlled hunts. Those applications are due between May 1 and May 31.
