Q. I have been buying a Junior/Senior/DAV hunting license for several years, then I heard that some people with this license have been shooting does in the same hunts where kids can shoot does. Is doe hunting ok for seniors?
A. No, there is some misinterpretation going on here. This special reduced-fee license does not give everyone who has it the same privileges. Where there are special youth hunts for either sex deer, they are for youths only. If the hunt is otherwise for bucks, a senior would be in violation for shooting a female deer.
