Q. When do leftover trophy tags go on sale?
A. The second controlled hunt application period for six leftover moose hunt permits runs from June 15 through June 25. There are no leftover sheep or goat permits. The application period for leftover tags for deer, elk, antelope and fall black bear hunts will be August 5 to 15.
