Q. I've heard that I can get a permit to use a spotlight hunting coyotes. What's the scoop?
A. You can hunt unprotected wildlife, including coyotes, with a spotlight, but only on private property and only with permission of the landowner. A valid hunting license is required. Be sure you are not in violation of other state, county, or city laws, ordinances, rules or regulations.
