Q. Last week's question was about fishing in the Snake River on the Oregon or Washington border. It explained that I can't fish from shore on the Oregon side with my Idaho license, but what if I stay in the boat? A. An angler with an Idaho license cannot tie up a boat to the Oregon shore while fishing nor fish while wading from the Oregon shore. If you anchor in a shallow spot, fish from the boat, don't get out and wade.
