The Teton Valley Chapter, which launched in 2023, devotes its efforts to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE), one of the largest nearly intact temperate-zone ecosystems on Earth. Our work is specifically focused in Teton Valley Idaho which lies between the Teton Mountains to the east and the Big Hole Mountains to the west, with the Teton River running through the center. This beautiful region contains an amazing diversity of wildlife, plants, and geologic features.
This chapter is sponsored by IDFG. Partner organizations include Friends of Teton River, Teton Regional Land Trust, and USDA Forest Service.
If you would like more information about the chapter or to put your name on a contact list for future trainings, email chapter leaders at naturalists@tetonvalleyimn.org .
