Fishing Public Input Email Survey
We would like your input on potential changes to seasons and limits for fall Chinook Salmon, Coho salmon, and steelhead in the Clearwater, Snake, and lower Salmon rivers. You have been selected to participate in this survey based on your purchase of a salmon or steelhead permit.
Information from the survey will be considered by the Fish and Game Commission in November when they set fall salmon and steelhead fishing seasons and limits for the next three years (2022-2024).
Please review the proposals and tell us how you feel about these proposed changes. This is a brief survey that should only take about 15 minutes of your time. Please complete your survey by June 16.
Topic 1: Proposed Seasons and Limits for Clearwater Steelhead and Fall Chinook Salmon
These proposed changes are for:
- Steelhead and Fall Chinook Salmon in the Clearwater River
Idaho Fish and Game would like your input on proposed changes to steelhead and fall Chinook salmon seasons in the Clearwater River basin. This is a complex and controversial issue, and we would like to understand your preference for steelhead and fall Chinook salmon seasons and limits in the Clearwater River basin for the next three years (2022-2024).
Topic 2: Proposed Seasons and Limits for Coho, Fall Chinook, and Steelhead
These proposed changes are for:
- Coho Salmon in the Clearwater
- Fall Chinook Salmon in the Snake and Lower Salmon Rivers
- Steelhead in the Snake River
We are seeking public input on proposed seasons and limits for Coho salmon in the Clearwater basin, fall Chinook salmon in the Snake and lower Salmon rivers, and steelhead in the Snake River. Public comment on these three proposals will be used by the Commission in November as they set seasons and limits for fisheries for the next three years (2022-2024).
