With education events cancelled, Senior Conservation Officer and bull trout educator Dustin Masin put together a coloring contest for students in grades 1 through 3.
Bull trout are one of the most misidentified fish in the Panhandle Region. These amazing native fish can migrate many miles between spawning streams and large lakes like Lake Pend Oreille and Lake Coeur d'Alene.
All ages are encouraged to submit their work, but only students in grades 1-3 will be considered for the contest. To get started:
1. Download the coloring sheet
2. Download the submission form
Carefully follow the instructions included with the submission form. Return art and form to bulltroutwarden@gmail.com by May 1.
One winner for each grade will receive a prize and have their art featured online by Fish & Game.
