Falcons are known for their speed and hunting techniques, and depending on the time of year, you can see them soaring through Idaho skies.
Idaho has five different species of falcons; prairie falcon, merlin, American kestrel, gyrfalcon, and Idaho’s state raptor, the peregrine falcon. Get to know these birds of prey in this month’s Wildlife Express.
