Jimmy Smith Lake Ice Fishing Derby cancelled

The Kids’ ice fishing derby at Jimmy Smith Lake, scheduled for this Saturday January 28th, has been cancelled due to poor ice conditions.

Due to the heavy snowfall this winter, the ice surface at Jimmy Smith Lake currently has 6 to 8 inches of standing water/ice crust on top of it, below the snow… more
