Early controlled hunt tags go on sale Tuesday, Aug. 11

Sale of 142 controlled hunt tags for hunts that begin in mid August will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at 10 a.m. Mountain Time, August 11 at Fish and Game offices, license vendors and online at fishandgame.idaho.gov. Tags are for these controlled hunts: - Deer hunts: 1028, 1085, 1088, and 1089 - Elk hunts: 2052, 2057, 2082, 2117, 2140 and 2184 - Pronghorn hunts: 4029, 4031, 4033, 4035, 4036, 4041 and 4046 For details, go to Fish and Game's website http://fishandgame.idaho.gov. Controlled hunt tags to be sold Tuesday were scheduled to sell Aug. 6, but a computer malfunction halted the sale.
