Wolf Rule Change Outlined

A change in federal rules that allows Idaho and Montana more options in the management of gray wolves is outlined on the Idaho Fish and Game web site. The rules change was announced January 3 and go into effect after 30 days. Fish and Game is reminding Idahoans that the old rules protecting wolves apply until this 30-day period is over. Three documents from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the office of Idaho Governor Dirk Kempthorne are linked to the Fish and Game homepage. The documents are available as PDF files.
