Project WILD workshops are designed for classroom teachers, day care providers, scout leaders and anyone else who is interested teaching kids about nature. The workshops begin at 4 p.m. Fridays and go all day Saturday.
Three workshops are offered in the Boise area this winter and spring:
¥ Project WILD - January 25 and 26.
¥ WILD about Raptors - March 14 and 15.
¥ WILD about Early Learners - April 25 and 26.
¥ Project WILD or WILD about Early Learners is a prerequisite for WILD about Raptors.
If interested, participants may sign up for a university credit for an additional fee. At the workshops, you will receive guides with numerous hands-on activities for teaching kids about wildlife, habitat and conservation. The guides are appropriate for grades K - 12.
