Resident Elk Tags Available

LEWISTON - Idaho still has resident elk tags available for all capped-zones of the Clearwater Region, with more than 5,413 general elk tags available as of Friday, August 13. In addition, 1,802 elk tags for the Middle Fork Zone are still available. Along with hunting licenses, hunters can purchase these tags on a first-come, first-served basis at any of the 400-plus license vendors throughout the state, at Department of Fish and Game offices, over the phone at 1-800-554-8685 or online at http://fishandgame.idaho.gov/ The following is the number of elk tags available in the Middle Fork Zone and the Clearwater Region:
