Firewood Sale on Craig Mountain

LEWISTON - The Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) is offering a firewood sale in the Soldiers' Meadows area of the Craig Mountain Wildlife Management Area to reduce risks of fire, insects and disease. The firewood is standing dead lodgepole pine. Permits and maps to the firewood area are available through July 30 at the IDFG Clearwater Regional Office, 3316 16th Street in Lewiston and the Idaho Department of Lands office in Craigmont. The permits cost $10.00 per pickup load with a ten load maximum per person. For more information, contact IDFG at 208-799-5010.
