Last week we said it was legal to shoot waterfowl from a boat, but it had to be dead stopped. Actually, the boat's forward progress from the motor has to be stopped. You can shoot from a moving boat but only if the motion is caused by current or human propulsion, i.e. paddle, oar or pole. This rule applies to both upland birds and waterfowl.
