Setting of waterfowl seasons will be a major item on the agenda when the Idaho Fish and Game Commission meets in Boise August 29-30. Fish and Game is taking comment on waterfowl season proposals in the regions and at headquarters in Boise before the meeting. Those proposals can be viewed at regional offices and on the department web site at http://fishandgame.idaho.gov. The sessions will begin at 1 p.m. August 29 in the Trophy Room at Fish and Game headquarters at 600 South Walnut in Boise with a workshop on the landowner appreciation program. A public hearing is set for 7 p.m. in the same location. Action on waterfowl seasons is scheduled for the morning session August 30. The Commission will also deal with a land exchange at Craig Mountain and hear reports on Hells Canyon relicensing, landowner appreciation tags, bonus points in controlled hunts, wolves and legislative proposals, among other topics.
