Commission Elects Officers

Fred Wood was elected chairman of the Idaho Fish and Game Commission for the next year when commissioners met in Orofino December 6-8. Wood was appointed from the Magic Valley Region by former Governor Phil Batt and reappointed by Governor Dirk Kempthorne. He has previously served as chairman. Mark Gibbs, representing the Southeast Region, was elected vice chairman. Gibbs is serving his first term after being appointed by Governor Kempthorne. The seven commissioners voted unanimously for both men. The chair traditionally changes each year.
